By just changing the towels in the bathroom and the way they are displayed one can easily give the entire space a completely new look without having to splurge on more serious, time-consuming makeovers. And the more neutral your bathroom color palette is, greater will be the impact.
Most modern vanities offer a variety of options for those looking to create a curated towel display in the bathroom. It is the two part floating vanity that is without a doubt the most popular choice among homeowners in 2017. The space between the top and bottom unit allows you to display those fresh, folded towels in a simple, yet visually effective fashion. Since most of these units come in white or shades of gray, towels in bold orange, bright purple, navy blue or even sunny yellow tend to grab your attention straightaway. You can change the color of choice with changing seasons and trends to freshen up the bathroom.
Imagine dipping your hand into a warm, silky, flowing stream. Visualise walking barefoot in a gently babbling brook. Picture lying in a beautiful, clear pool, the water softly cascading around you. Each of these imagined scenarios underpin the design of Vitae, a recent bathroom concept from Noken, developed in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Design. This revolutionary bathroom collection is striking in its form and presentation, with integral components that evoke images of Zaha Hadid‘s dramatic architecture. In truth, Vitae offers the perfect refuge and escape from life‘s everyday demands.
Most bathroom ranges have a singular image, but TONO is about choice, allowing for multiple configurations within the same family. The project was a collaborative venture that brought together several companies whose expertise lies in different materials. For instance, we worked with Noken to develop ceramics and brassware, L‘Antic Colonial on the stone, and Systempool, who are KRION® Solid Surface specialists. As a result, TONO works across a wide range of materials and finishes, offering greater choice to designers and users.
An open bathroom with a lot of daylight benefits from light turquoise interior. It creates a feeling of familiarity and security, the soft colors not dominating the room but rather making way for the abundance of natural lighting. Wood and turquoise match very well. Even though they appear contrasting, it‘s precisely their differences that make them such a good match. The turquoise tiles that resemble fish scales are on the colder spectrum of colors, while the well-known sight of wood feels wonderfully warm.
