Most bathroom ranges have a singular image, but TONO is about choice, allowing for multiple configurations within the same family. The project was a collaborative venture that brought together several companies whose expertise lies in different materials. For instance, we worked with Noken to develop ceramics and brassware, L‘Antic Colonial on the stone, and Systempool, who are KRION® Solid Surface specialists. As a result, TONO works across a wide range of materials and finishes, offering greater choice to designers and users.
But if you‘ve ever opened up a pack of new tennis balls, you may have noticed that they can have a strong smell…which you might not want to transfer to your towels. If you prefer, you can purchase some dryer balls (like these) that are made especially for softening laundry, improving airflow in the dryer, and reducing static.
From Noken‘s perspective, bathrooms of the future should be guided by advanced technology, found in the latest operating systems and through interactive experiences. A bathroom of the future will cater to the specific needs of individual family members, including: customised temperature control of the room, mood music, lighting and adjustable basin heights. Moreover, multi-screen displays will introduce an interactive experience to the bathroom.
